Pool Opening Service
- Remove the cover from the pool and fold it on the pool deck, and store cover in a specified location. - Start circulation system - Install handrail(s) and ladder(s) (If the handrail(s), ladder(s), anchors, and or and/or bolts are deemed unsafe, they will not be installed at the opening time. An estimate for repair will be given) - Install Skimmer Baskets - Leave plugs, cover, gizzmo and other items removed from the pool on the pool deck unless otherwise instructed. - Light heater (If applicable and if heater is operable and safe to light) - Add appropriate amount calcium hypochlorite and preventative algaecide.
- Remove the folded cover from pool deck, unfold cover to clean the cover with cleaner and brushes, and refold the cover. - Enter the pool to remove winter plugs (See Additional Services) - Vacuum the pool. - Brush the walls and floors. - Clean the pool deck. - Move furniture, tables, umbrellas or other items around the pool deck. - Repairs to any part of the pool beyond the pool opening, including cover anchor repairs - Return to a pool if the pool cannot be started because the water is too low. - Return to a pool that could not be started and has leaks in plugs and caps that could not be checked during the pool opening. - Return to a pool to add chemicals in the event the water is low, the pump will not operate, or power to the circulating system was not turned on from inside the house. - Fill the pool with water. It is company policy not to leave water running in any pool we service. It is the CUSTOMER’S responsibility to fill the pool to proper operating level both before and after the pool is serviced - Clean and servicing automatic pool covers.
